Arkell's seeks to commission painting for The Bear in Marlborough

If you are a local artist with a decent portfolio, a love of Marlborough and some good ideas, this could be for you. The Bear is looking for a painter to create a visual representation not just of its Hotel, but of points of interest and/or historical significance around Marlborough to hang in the stairwell of its premises on the High Street. It is imperative that The Bear would be the focal point of the painting, but the rest is down to you - a blank canvas, if you like. It could be Avebury, the White Horse, Silbury Hill or any of the many places which make Marlborough such a beautiful and interesting place to live.

Arkell's Brewery are will generously recompense the right artist subject to estimates and negotiation. If this brief description fires your interest and you think you could create something beautiful which will stand the test of time, contact Ian Watson at The Bear on 01672 512134.
