The Christmas season kicks off officially on Friday 1st December at 6.30pm when the Marlborough Christmas Lights are switched on. To celebrate this joyful marker in the festive calendar, Marlborough Town Council are making a day of it with a fabulous Christmas market in the High Street and Father Christmas in his grotto in the Town Hall from 3pm-8pm courtesy of the Rotary Club.

There will be children’s rides between 5pm and 8pm and choral and dance performances starting at the same time as well as the Citizen of the Year Presentation. This is a free event for all the family. To book in advance to see Father Christmas go to www.rotarysanta2017.eventbrite.co.uk
