food gallery marlborough In the spirit of seasonal efficiency, the Food Gallery has come up with a way for you to rest and repair with the help of their appetising menu and simultaneously scoop up a few Christmas treats. The reluctant Christmas shopper (also known as men) can tick off a good chunk of their Christmas list while idling over lunch.

For those of you not familiar with the miraculous Hotchocspoon, it is a socking great lump of deliciously flavoured chocolate on an integrated wooden spoon which melts in hot milk as you stir. Couple this with one of the Food Gallery’s Epic Mince Pie’s (the clue is in the name) and you have the perfect Christmas shopper’s revival snack. They shifted over 500 of said mince pies last year for good reason and they can be enjoyed both in-house or ordered for home where you can rough them up a bit and claim them as your own.

As well as their fabulous hampers (see Christmas Gift Guide), the Food Gallery also sells a great selection of locally produced, responsibly sourced, artisan stocking fillers including Toffee Shop Fudge from Cumbria – (a favourite of the late Queen Mother, the royal dentures were regularly wrapped around it), Scout and Sage Christmas Crackers which include a
