Christmas is the most enchanting time of year at The Merchant’s House, and this year will be no exception! The Merchant’s House transforms its beautiful 17th century panelled room into a magical Christmas emporium. Shimmering decorations, traditional and contemporary presents, Christmas crackers, candles, wreaths and much more make this a wonderful place for children and adults alike to enjoy the spirit of Christmas. It is possibly the best Christmas display not only in Marlborough, but much further afield as well.

This beautiful Silk Merchant’s House and stylish shop, is an important part of our local heritage, and is very popular both for its uniquely good taste, featuring items such as lovingly hand-picked high quality china, unusual candles, cards, children’s presents, jewellery, wedding gifts, scarves, and much more. The Merchant’s House itself has been authentically restored and is open for guided tours from April until October and is well worth a visit.
