Christmas time… Mistletoe and spam?

The White Horse Bookshop in Marlborough is known for doing things a little differently, always coming up with new and ingenious ways to engage with their customers old and new.

This year, as part of their 75-year celebration, they are rolling out the barrels and partying like it’s 1943 which involves many of the Christmas classics such as mince pies and mulled wine with a few red herrings thrown in such as spam, Woolton pie, pineapple chunks and rock cakes on the menu!

The bookshop’s dedicated team will be in period civilian clothing, donning ARP Warden's helmets and sling gas masks and they invite you to do the same!

Get in the spirit with period music and wartime camaraderie and all those who come in costume will receive a special discount off all purchases on the day!

Join the White Horse Bookshop to celebrate this special event on Friday the 7th of December from 5.30pm for a fantastically festive late-night shop!
