A Lecture by David Evans

Treat yourself to an insightful evening with David Evans as he lectures on the journey of the Magi. This tale cannot fail to capture the imagination of all faiths and backgrounds as we explore St Matthew’s story of the wise men who followed a star and presented gifts to the infant Jesus.

Images of the three wise men date back as far as the 4th Century and during the Renaissance almost every painter of note painted a version of their journey.

This event takes place on Thursday 29th November at St Peter’s Church, Marlborough from 7pm to 7.30pm. Tickets are available from The Merchant’s House, £15 non-members or £12 members.
