Half Term Fun at Avebury

From Friday 9th February through to Sunday 18th, Avebury Manor are offering children the chance to really get to grips with history – literally. Children will be invited to touch the displays, lie on the beds and dress up in costumes. Outside the Manor, they can take part in the free Museum trail and imagine themselves thousands of years in the past, battling to survive through the long, cold winter months. Or experience what it was like to be a Tudor gentleman or woman living in a fine house with servants on hand.avebury manor Story time will take place daily in the newly opened second hand book shop on the High Street between 12-1pm. Avebury is the perfect place for inspiring young minds and active imaginations. Booking Not Needed.

A National Trust Event - Start 11:00. End 16:00. Free Event but Normal Admission Charges Apply. Tickets for the Manor can be collected from the Museum. Pick up the children’s trail from the Museum. Check website for latest information.
